Children & Youth

Nurturing children and youth in a safe, caring, Christ-centered environment.

Christian Education Programs:

Church School is a mixed-age class. The group explores stories of Hebrew and Christian Scripture through activities and discussion. This session follows the Youth Sermon, roughly ten minutes into our Sunday service. Our Director of Youth and Children’s Ministry, Rachel Crilley, and volunteer teachers then lead the children to a separate session in the Church House that runs concurrently with the main service.

Exploring Faith begins in 8th grade. Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. We participate in service projects, mission trips, and a retreat. In the second year of Exploring Faith, students are invited to become full members of the church in confirmation.

Pastor Timothy leads an affirmation-of-faith service for an Exploring Faith class.

One Family Worship occurs quarterly. Church School children are invited to stay in church for worship and the Lord’s Supper. Child care provided for the very young.
